In order to meet this need, the CIArb have issued the Dispute Board Rules, which cater to any medium or long-term project, whether construction, IT, commercial or otherwise. Nicholas Gould, partner at Fenwick Elliott and Chair of the CIArb Drafting Committee launched these new Dispute Board Rules at the Dispute Appointment Services (DAS) Convention, 14 November 2014.

On 24 November Ted Lowery was one of the speakers at the Turkmenistan and United Kingdom Trade and Industry Council (TUKTIC) Conference in London. TUKTIC is an organisation that aims to encourage business between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom and to build upon existing working relationships. Ted drew on his own experience of working closely with Turkmen State Concerns in the gas and chemical sectors.

Thank you to everyone who came along on Friday 14 November both to play and to support their teams at CODEP Cup VIII. Yet again, it was another hard fought tournament, with newcomers Child Graddon Lewis winning the trophy. The event has raised much needed funds for the fight against the Ebola virus and the support is much appreciated by everyone at CODEP both in the UK and Sierra Leone.
